The Golden Girls Live: The Christmas Episodes Berkeley Theatre reviews
it was expected more than that!
I have been a fan of The Golden Girls Live: The Christmas Episodes for many years, to be honest. This time, the opening act was more funny, sorry to say that. There seemed to be no jokes prepared for the night. It felt like a person just came up to the stage and spoke out everything that was on his mind that evening. I was a little disappointed because, as usual, I was expecting really funny jocks as before. I understand that at some point, a comedian has to convey a message, but when it's done between the jokes, it has more meaning rather than feeling like you're attending some lecture of a political kind. I hope it will get better, as I consider Mr. Black the ONLY real comedian on the American stage. The rest are just idiots making jokes below the belly button.
